I am making my big debut back to work this week! However, some things to keep in mind…

🦋 If you’re squeamish, I’m sorry 😂 I only have a liquid bandaid thing over it from surgery so I very much look like someone sliced my throat…

🦋 I also can barely speak so we will in fact be having quieter appointments unless you’re down for talking to a wall.. the wall is in fact listening to every word you say though

🦋 if you hear some crunching randomly, don’t mind me! I’m just eating +5 Tums because I’m feeling *tingllyyy* unfortunately, it IS a necessity because I don’t think either of us wants me to pass out or possibly have a seizure

If you are completely unaware of what’s happening… hey, my name is Tina and I just had a complete thyroidectomy due to Hashimoto’s thyroiditis that significantly flared after the birth of my third baby! I am one week post op, surgery was August 3rd, and she was a nasty looking thyroid. Unfortunately, for me, they did accidentally get some parathyroid so I’ve been battling with hypocalcemia ever since leaving the hospital. Most of the day I’m okay but some point after lunch I do find myself eating half the bottle of tums as a rescue medication! I am overall feeling better besides the hypocalcemia but I am only one week out. I’m still adjusting but have high hopes for the other side.

As long as your last tech applied your lashes properly, removal isn’t necessary! I will do my best to recreate what you currently have.
