Truly loved being in my element today.
Fall hair often brings reds, coppers, and warm tones to mind, but a beautifully blended bronde deserves its fall moment, too.
So much love and intention went into this transformation. My original vision was inspired by the contrast of a Siamese cat's coloring, but as we collaborated, I shifted toward a softer melt with bright, creamy ends and I'm so happy I did!

For this transformation, I wanted all of the dimension. Originally I was going to do just a copper with golden highlights but while I went to mix up her color a last minute change came to mind and I mixed up two completely different colors than I originally planned.

♥️ Rooted + melted between most of the foils with Epilogue 5-46 + 5-65 | 10 vol
🖤 Deep ribbons + underneath with Epilogue 5-46 + 5-8 | 10 vol
🧡 Finished with a global gloss of 8-46 + 7-4

The way those copper ribbons pop against the deeper red-brown underneath?! 😮‍💨🔥

Malibu C has already been such an important part of what I do behind the chair. My beautiful client was ready for a major chop, but she had two very valid concerns: “I don’t want a Dora cut” 😂 and “please don’t let my thick, naturally textured hair turn into a triangle.”

We took off a LOT of length, then I customized the shape specifically for her density and natural movement. I softened the perimeter, added long layers, and incorporated internal layering to remove some of that hidden bulk. So whether she wears it smooth and styled or lets her natural texture come out, the shape still works with her hair instead of fighting it.

And can we PLEASE talk about that shine?! 😍✨ No shine spray. No glossing product. That is literally just HER HAIR. So incredibly healthy!
