Big News!

Today is a very special day for me, and I’m so excited to finally share this news with you. ❤️

As of September 1st, I am officially taking over ownership of The Red Salon!

This moment feels incredibly full-circle for me. Long before I ever imagined myself owning a salon, I was a teenager sitting in Kathy’s chair as a client. What started as simply getting my hair done turned into something that would have a lasting impact on my life and career.

Kathy has been so much more than a mentor to me. She has been someone who believed in me, encouraged me, challenged me, and helped shape the stylist and business owner I am becoming. So much of what I have learned, both behind the chair and beyond it, has been influenced by her guidance and the example she has set.

Taking over The Red Salon is an incredible honor, and I don’t take the responsibility lightly. I’m excited to carry forward the heart and legacy of what Kathy has built while also bringing my own vision, ideas, and energy into this next chapter, and the salon will remain a “Kathy Simonton concept”. 🫶

To all of my clients who have supported me throughout my journey—thank you. Your trust, loyalty, and encouragement have helped me get to this point, and I am so incredibly grateful.

Here’s to a new chapter for The Red Salon, while honoring everything that brought us here. ❤️

Beginning September 1st, my service pricing will be updated to reflect the rising cost of products, ongoing education, and the quality of service I’m committed to providing. My updated pricing is included in this post and will also be reflected in online booking. Currently booked appointments will continue to reflect the old pricing.

This season is about so much more than a price update. There are some exciting changes happening behind the scenes, and I can’t wait to share what’s next with you. 🤍
