​A thorough consultation is arguably the most important part of any hair appointment. Why? Because achieving your dream look also means factoring in your hair health, daily lifestyle, and maintenance goals.

​This client arrived knowing she wanted multi-tonal, calico-inspired color, but wanted help with the placement. Knowing she loves to switch things up and prefers spacing her appointments a couple of months apart, we strategically designed a layout that keeps the dark tones balanced and manageable.

​After a collaborative 10-minute discussion and photo review, we landed on a custom plan that will fade beautifully and grow out seamlessly with her natural root.

This color just screams Fall to me, but not in your typical red, copper, and orange way.

​This client prefers to go 12 weeks between appointments, so we chose a vivid, long-lasting color placement that fades evenly over time.
​The halo technique is especially helpful for extending the life of the color, as regrowth is less noticeable compared to other placements.

High maintenance doesn't necessarily mean coming to the salon every 6 weeks if you're willing to put the work in at home!

I've been absolutely loving the Schwarzkopf Professional USA highlight fashion lights. Its a great way to get a little more longevity out of these brighter reds.

Unfortunately, it doesn't let you skip the cold water step of the maintenance, thats still necessary 😉

One of my favorite things about maintenance appointments is the flexibility to rearrange placement as colors fade, creating a completely custom shift without starting from scratch.
