Started with a 2 week shutdown. As time off increased, I had a lot of daydreaming. Any entrepreneur with too much time on their hands that is used to working with them will tell you-it's a recipe for the next big idea.
Open a spa. A whole spa. I was branching into the unknown-as a business owner, I had only ever worked alone, but truly missed working with a team. Not just for myself, but being able to treat my guest to a whole experience. Massage. Facial. Events. So I went looking for a space. This one was way over my budget, but with a little negotiating power in a ghost town of a market in which no one in their right mind was launching a business, enter me: out of her mind. And thats okay. Sometimes you have to do crazy to get crazy dreams to come true. So here we are, 6 years, tens of thousands of services and smiles, memories, friendships, community, and a place many call their home away from home.
