IYKYK just how important my grama is in my life.

She was there to raise me when my parents couldn’t. She’s supported me through starting (and stopping 😂) a hundred different paths. She’s been there behind the scenes for every emergency, panic attack, and frustration, teaching me patience and usually helping bail me out of whatever little nonsense I’ve managed to get myself into.

This summer, my grama suffered a broken vertebra, which meant some unexpected changes to my work schedule while she recovered. I shared a little about those changes at the time, but didn’t get too publicly personal.

After surgery and a whole lot of recovery, she’s slowly getting her mobility and strength back. And getting to have these pictures taken with her and my boys last month means more to me than I can even explain.

I am so unbelievably lucky to have the support of so many wonderful people in my life, but truly, none of this would be possible without her.

This event is a really big one for us because the funds raised go directly back into the work SBBH does to support 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. 🥹🖤
