Bringing another massage therapist into my practice has been something I’ve been working toward for a while, and finding the right person was incredibly important to me. I wanted someone who would complement the care and experience my clients have come to expect at Touch of Harmony Massage—and I’m so happy to have Angela joining me.

Angela will be seeing clients Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, giving us more availability and making it a little easier to get the care your body needs.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be a guest speaker at the 2026 AAPPN Annual Conference on Saturday, October 10, in Lynnwood, Washington!

This year’s conference explores the important connections between endocrine and metabolic health and mental health. My session, “Hormones and Mental Health: What Every Psychiatric NP Should Know,” will give psychiatric nurse practitioners practical tools for recognizing when reproductive hormones and the menopause transition may be influencing mood, anxiety, sleep, cognition, and treatment response.

We’ll discuss PMDD, perimenopausal depression, hormone-related sleep disruption, treatment options, common medical mimics, and when collaboration with primary care, gynecology, or a menopause specialist can improve care.

If you’re a psychiatric NP or another healthcare professional interested in the intersection of hormones and mental health, I would love to see you there!

After winning Gold in 2024, receiving Silver this year feels like another beautiful reminder of just how fortunate I am to do work that I truly love—and to have a community that believes in what I do.

Every person who walks through my door is trusting me with something important: their pain, their stress, their healing, their vulnerability, and sometimes simply their need for a safe place to exhale for a while. I never take that trust lightly.
