Giving an update on our hours for the holiday's. I should have accomplished this a month ago. I apologize.

We close today at 2pm and there are only a couple of spots open. When we close today we will not be open again until Thursday at noon. Considering that we are closed on Monday's and most bank holiday's fall on Mondays, we don't get extra days very often. So, we are taking Tuesday for Christmas eve AND Tuesday for New Years Eve.

Ranleigh was the kind of person in life that leaves me speechless now that he is gone. This isn't easy to write.

I don't really know where to start, or where to go with this. Ranleigh was a man born out of time. He lived a life with a kind of childlike exuberance that we would all do well to emulate. He was rebellious, funny, hard-headed, insensitive, and sensitive. All at the same time. He was an amateur sociologist, historian, educator, and lifelong student. He was NOT politically correct but again. In a very childlike way. He was a substitute teacher in Granite School District for over 40 years. He taught at almost every elementary school, and EVERY Junior and Senior High School in the District. He refused to follow lesson plans and instead went on with rambling conversations with the classes. Over the years I have met many of his former students. They all remembered him fondly and with humor. He would remember what class he was substituting and specific conversations with them. Some of these took place more than 20 years previous. He drove Granite School District crazy, and they have no idea of the positive impact he made on so many kids lives. He failed the school district often, but more than made up for it by being a champion for the students. He was admired by the kids.

Rest in peace friend. You will be missed at the shop.
