Vyvanse® (lisdexamfetamine) is primarily prescribed to treat ADHD and, in some cases, binge eating disorder. It is not a standard treatment for depression.

However, some people with ADHD may also experience depression. Treating ADHD symptoms can sometimes improve daily functioning and mood, but that doesn’t mean Vyvanse directly treats depression.

Some people with ADHD say ni****ne makes them feel more focused, calm, or alert. But feeling a short-term effect doesn't mean ni****ne is a safe or effective ADHD treatment. Using ni****ne to manage ADHD symptoms can lead to dependence and other health risks.

If you or someone you know is struggling with ADHD or ni****ne dependence, consider speaking with a qualified mental health professional.

New Post: How CBT Tackles Health Anxiety

Constantly worrying about your health? Checking symptoms or seeking reassurance over and over?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help you recognize anxious thought patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and respond to health worries in healthier ways.

📖 Read our new article to learn more at https://www.onelifepsychiatry.com/post/how-cognitive-behavioral-therapy-tackles-health-anxiety.

👉 Take the first step toward understanding health anxiety.

Anxiety can create very real physical symptoms, but not every physical symptom is caused by anxiety. The tricky part? These symptoms can also occur with physical health conditions.

If a symptom is new, severe, persistent, getting worse, or unusual for you, don't simply assume it's anxiety. A healthcare professional can help determine whether further medical evaluation is needed.

Seek urgent medical attention for severe or sudden chest pain, significant difficulty breathing, fainting, sudden weakness, or other serious or rapidly worsening symptoms.

Anxiety is a real health condition, and its physical symptoms are real too. Getting the right evaluation is the first step toward getting the right support.
