I’ve had quite a few women come in lately who have never experienced energy work before.

Usually they’re curious. Open minded. Maybe not entirely sure what they believe about it yet.

And I actually love that.

Because one of the first things I tell someone is that I can’t tell them exactly what their session is going to be like. I don’t know either.

Sometimes I start working and get incredibly vivid imagery that I have to decipher as the session unfolds. Sometimes a loved one who has passed steps in. Sometimes I hear a message very clearly.

And then there are sessions where none of that happens.

I just get the sense that they have been walking around collecting from everyone.

Other people’s emotions. Other people’s stress. The energy of the places they’ve been. For people who are naturally very open or empathic, it can start to feel like there’s a whole lot in their field that doesn’t belong to them.

Those sessions are often much quieter. I clear. I ground. I follow what I’m noticing and let the session unfold from there.

There doesn’t have to be some huge mystical moment for energy work to feel profound.

And I think that’s what surprises first-timers the most.

They don’t always have words for what happened.

They just know they feel really, really good afterward. 💚
