Back-to-school season has always meant more to me than fresh notebooks and first-day photos.

For 28 years behind the chair, I've had the incredible privilege of doing the hair of five generations of families. In this sweet family alone, I've done the hair of these precious little ones, their Mom, their Grands, their Nana, and Great Grandma (aunties and cousins too). That kind of trust is something I never take lightly.

I've watched little ones become kindergarteners, kindergarteners become seniors, seniors become parents, and now I get to welcome a whole new generation into my chair. What an incredible full-circle blessing.

These little faces waiting by the door remind me that I'm not just doing hair. I'm getting to be a small part of first-day jitters, school pictures, proms, weddings, babies, and so many of life's biggest milestones.

Thank you for trusting me with your families, your stories, and your memories. The hairstyles will grow out, but being woven into the fabric of your family's history is something I'll carry with me forever. ❤️✂️📚
