Update (surprise surprise)

First off, take this less as a blueprint and more of an honest check-in 🤍

I know this page has turned into a series of updates, but the truth is, we aren’t sure where things are heading right now.

A while back, on the brink of major growth, a conversation made me reevaluate everything. As much good as this product was doing, the pace was addicting. I convinced myself of a lot in the name of helping others, but I couldn’t ignore where it was leading: two working parents and that was never our goal.

Looking back, every time things started to grow, our family grew too. What felt like bad timing then feels like grace now. While it felt isolating to step off the gas while everyone around me kept building, I started to see that if I didn’t get my home right, nothing else matters.

Eventually, fueled by customer requests, I tried picking things back up. But behind the scenes, multiple things made it even more draining for me as a mom. I know no business is problem free, but this just isn’t the season for me to be dealing with any of it. Combined with normal life, my capacity to keep pushing forward tanked.

We still make and use our balms daily, but it took me the better part of two years to completely drop the self-imposed pressure to keep up with demand. That being said, for those of you who are truly attached to our products, it never hurts to reach out and ask if we have an extra jar or two sitting around - I’m always happy to check for those who truly love our stuff 🤍

There will always be money to make and opportunities to grow, but the cost to my home was too high. I share this not for sympathy but to give an honest answer on where things stand.

The desire to build this is still in our hearts, but in this stage of life, the capacity isn’t there. The business is on pause, and my focus is right here at home. If and when the timing is right to open doors again, you’ll be the first to know.

for the first time in a long time, i have been at a loss for words.

this past month and a half has been rich with growth and dreams fulfilled beyond what i could have imagined. there’s always a transition period when another little one joins before finding your groove again. however, this new baby has already been a balm to my soul after last year in addition to juggling so many littles ✨

thank you to everyone who has reached out or continued ordering during this extra quiet time for our family! it has not gone unnoticed and we’ve even been able to keep orders going out smoothly in a timely manner 🙌🏼

& speaking of dreams - we will be moving in a couple of months to a home that holds everything we have wanted in a home. somewhere we can settle and grow into. i can’t wait to share more! but that said, given the whirlwind of being freshly postpartum and now having to pack soon - balm making will be slowing during this time! 😅

as of right now, the stock available will be all that we have for some time. it would even be so nice to sell out before moving so that there’s less to move Lol! once settled into our new place we will continue making balms so here is your notice to get what you want now!
