My camera roll has the cute parts. Here’s a little raw look inside my heart 💋
Some days I leave the studio thinking, “I can’t believe I get to do this.”
Other days I sit in the car for a few extra minutes because nobody needs anything from me in there yet.
Same girl. Same business. Sometimes the same day. 🤪
I love talking with you during appointments. Hearing about the wedding, the trip, the thing you finally decided to do for yourself. When you look in the mirror and love what you see? I’m probably just as excited as you are.
Then I check my phone, remember the messages I haven’t answered, realize I never posted that reel, and start mentally rearranging tomorrow.
Meanwhile, my family needs dinner and apparently I do, too.
I have big plans for this business. I also want to enjoy my kids, see my friends, and sit on my couch without feeling like I should be doing something productive.
That’s the part I’m figuring out.
How to be proud without immediately finding the next thing to chase. How to have a quiet week without deciding everyone forgot about me. How to take a day off without spending half of it working from my phone.
I’m sharing this because it’s easy to see someone posting new things and assume she has it all handled.
Girl, I’m excited. I’m grateful. I’m also looking for my studio keys I’ve lost for the third time this week.
If you’re building something while juggling kids, work, and life… hi. Same. Sending you a little love and permission to clock out 💋🪩

Your tan is giving vacation. Your armpits are giving Wicked.
Why do armpits sometimes turn green after a spray tan? Leftover deodorant can react with the bronzer, leaving a temporary green or gray tint.
Skip deodorant before your appointment. Already put it on? Tell me—my prep wipes can help.
Looking for the best spray tan in Iowa City or North Liberty? Get a custom, natural-looking glow from an artist who answers the questions you’re embarrassed to Google.

Nashville… holy smokesss. What a weekend.
One of MANY recaps coming because I’m nowhere near done talking about this.
Thank you to the hosts, speakers, brands, and all the girls who made Camp Glow the FUp so special. Getting to hug my internet friends in real life, talk business with women who GET IT, and learn from artists I look up to meant so much to me.
We learned a lot. We laughed a lot very loudly in Kelsi Zimmerman bed 🤪 And we took the spray tans out on Broadway.
I’m coming home with so much to put into practice, fresh ideas, and even more love for what I do. I’ll always keep learning and investing in myself as an artist because my people back home deserve that care and effort.
North Liberty + Iowa City, all that education is coming home with me. I’m so excited to bring what I learned back to your appointments and our community.
And getting asked to be the ear piercing artist for the weekend?! Such a pinch-me moment.🥰
Feeling very tired and very lucky. Love you girls BIG. Let’s do it again. S/O to the weekends queens! Kelsi Zimmerman STEPH TAYLOR | SPRAY TAN DADDY Marissa Jeans ALT SUN | PROFESSIONAL SUNLESS SOLUTION
