It’s been a month since the fire, and I’m still in shock. Losing almost everything wasn’t on 2026 bingo card. I’m so grateful for our new place, but I’m still grieving our old one. Being displaced, working, and keeping up with the kids’ routines so they have some normalcy has been exhausting!
Once we get settled, I’ll probably sleep for a week!

Officially starting over!

But I’m so grateful for our community! 🥹 My beautiful mother-in-love for giving us a comfortable place to stay and helping us with the kids! Thank you to everyone who donated so we could pay for gas, application fees, the u-Haul, the deposit, move-in costs, clothes, shoes, toiletries, and food!
