Some of the strongest people in the gym didn’t get there by avoiding heavy weight. They got there by staying consistent under it.

Faith works the same way.

The season you’re in may feel heavy, but that doesn’t always mean God has left you. Sometimes He’s strengthening your endurance, deepening your trust, and producing something in you that comfort never could.

Don’t quit because it’s hard. Stay faithful. God is building strength you can’t always see.

“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 🤍

The Sunday routine that keeps this mama from losing her mind by Wednesday 🤍

Today was something I don’t want to forget.

For years I’ve shared the Bible online almost every day. I’ve prayed with my girls, brought them to church, answered their questions about God, and tried to show them what a godly woman looks like at home.

But the Lord has been gently convicting me of something.

I hadn’t made a consistent habit of simply sitting down and studying His Word with them.

Not because I didn’t love God. Not because I didn’t care. I think I wanted it to feel like connection instead of a lecture, intimacy instead of another lesson.

So today we packed a picnic, opened Hebrews 1:1–2, and just talked. They asked questions. We laughed. We learned. They treasured the time… and honestly, so did I.

I’m still becoming the mom God has called me to be. One of the biggest reasons I fully committed my life to Christ was because I wanted to be a better mother. My prayer isn’t just that I’m a “good mom,” but that I’m the mom my daughters need.

I’m sharing this because someone else may need the reminder: it’s never too late to start. Your children don’t need a perfect parent. They need one who’s willing to keep growing alongside them.

Here’s to many more Bible study picnics. 🤍

The Bible may not mention gym memberships or workout routines, but it gives us wisdom about caring for the body God has entrusted to us.

1. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.
(1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
2. We are called to honor God with our bodies.
(1 Corinthians 6:20)
3. Discipline and self-control matter.
(1 Corinthians 9:25-27)
4. Physical training has some value, but godliness has value for all things.
(1 Timothy 4:8)
5. We should take care of what God has given us.
(Genesis 2:15)
6. Strength and diligence are qualities Scripture praises.
(Proverbs 31:17)
7. Rest is part of God’s design.
(Exodus 20:8-10)
8. We should avoid being controlled by unhealthy desires.
(1 Corinthians 6:12)
9. Our work and efforts should glorify God.
(Colossians 3:23)
10. Our ultimate goal is not appearance, but becoming more like Christ.
(Romans 12:1-2)

Fitness is not about vanity. It’s about stewardship. It’s about having the strength, energy, and discipline to serve God and love others well.
