This business supports the United States Constitution, the rights of people to peacefully assemble, and stands in solidarity with the protesters throughout the country who are peacefully mourning the death of George Floyd.
This business supports the peaceful Black Lives Matter protests; their demands of accountability for the systematic discrimination and brutality towards Black Americans by law enforcement officers are important and must be heard.
This business believes in Love and that all lives are precious. In this salon, Love is Love, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
"I swore never to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented."

It's officially offical!!!😁
Starting at 5pm on May 22nd, 2020, North Carolina will begin Phase 2 which allows salons to reopen.
I will continue to reach out to everyone this week to book your appointments. As stated in my last post, please be patient as I work through my lists. I promise I haven't forgotten about any of you!
My online booking will remain blocked until July, as I have a list of almost 2 months(56 days to be exact!) worth of appointments to reschedule, as well as a waiting list of clients to work through. Once everyone on those are taken care of, I will reopen my books completely.
➡️ Now that we've gotten that out of the way, here are our new rules:
• If you or any family member living in your home is sick, you will need to reschedule your appointment. (If you have a cough or fever, please do not enter the building)
• Your car is the new waiting room 😆
Social Distancing remains a key tool to decrease the spread of COVID-19. Message me when you arrive and I will let you know when you can come in!
• We are all required to wear a mask or face covering, so PLEASE bring your own.
If you do not have a mask, one can be purchased from me for $2. Masks are essential because we are in very close contact with each other.
*In case you're wondering, I already have solutions for working around them during your services.
• When you are inside, please go straight to the bathroom and wash your hands.
I will also have hand sanitizer on deck, along with complimentary wipes for your cellphones since our phones are one of the dirtiest things we carry!
• Please Do not bring any guests with you.
We are required to remain 6 feet apart as much as possible, so unfortunately you will not be able to bring the kids, family members, or friends into the building. I am in a suite so there is minimal space.
• Please be on time for your appointment. If you are 15 minutes late, we may have to cut one of your services, or you may be asked to reschedule.
Also, please expect that your appointment may take longer due to the length of time it has been since your last service, so plan your day accordingly.
In order to fulfill your hair needs, as well as to comply with the new sanitation and disinfection requirements now in place, I've already allotted additional time for every service.
I promise to try my very best to stay on schedule with every appointment so that I can give each of you the attention you and your hair deserve. Although I love pampering every one of you, I'll be busier than usual for the next few months, so please understand that I may not be able to accomodate last minute add-ons at your appointment.
• Lastly, if you identify as higher-risk and want to further minimize contact:
Please let me know and I will try to work with you to schedule your appointment for a less busy time and day.
Thank you all for being so awesome and patient through all of this!
I can’t wait to see each of you and make you feel fabulous again 🙌🏼
Update on Phase 2 of reopening:
Governor Cooper is set to address salon reopening plans in a press conference scheduled for 5pm this evening. As of now, NC is meeting 3 out of 4 key metrics for Phase 2 of reopening, so we're hoping for no further delays.
As soon as the reopening date and safety requirements are made official, I'll be making a post to share this information with everyone. Please expect to see some changes in compliance with these new outlines. We're so close!
I have been working this week to contact each of you and get everyone rescheduled, so please be patient as I make my way through my long list of contacts. I'm going in order of original appointments held, then working through my waiting list and I promise I'll get in contact with everyone.
If you would like an appointment and 1. did not have an appointment scheduled during the shutdown, or 2. have not yet contacted me to be placed on my waiting list, please feel free to reach out! Once I have taken care of everyone on my lists, I'll be able to fill in any openings with new requests.
Thank you for your continued understanding and support during this hectic time. I can't wait to get back behind the chair and see each one of you again!
Hello Everyone!
I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy. Due to the state-wide salon closure mandate, I've been out of the salon since March 25th and it looks like we'll be closed for the next several weeks at the least.
Because we do not yet know exactly when we will be allowed to reopen, I've chosen to cancel all upcoming appointments through July 2020 so that I'm able to reschedule all of my guests effectively. When we are finally given the go-ahead, I will be reaching out to each of you to get you all rescheduled.
At this point there is tentative open date towards the end of May. If tests and case counts of COVID-19 decrease by May 8th, then we will start Phase 1 of the Stay Home restrictions. If all goes well, Phase 2 is projected to start towards the end of May. That means salons and other businesses will begin to re-open with certain guidelines still in place.
Although it is extremely exciting to see the light at the end of the tunnel now, just keep in mind there will be a new salon normal headed our way.
This is a tentative timeline and I will email you mid-May with more details about how to reschedule. Please know you are a priority and I will be sure to get you back on my books as soon as possible. If you would like to be added to my waitlist, please reach out to me and let me know.

Attn Clients:
Our reopening date has been postponed per the governor's orders. I will be contacting each one of you who have made appointments to reschedule. I know you're feeling frustrated to say the least, I am too! Please understand that I want nothing more than for everything to get back to normal and can't wait to be able to see you all again. ❤
Here's our latest update from the governor detailing our state's plan for reopening:
At today's press conference Roy Cooper extended the NC Stay at Home Order until May 8, and announces a 3-Phase plan for reopening businesses starting May 9th.
• Phase 1- Stay at Home Order remains in place. Business that were closed by Executive Order (in our case salons) will remained closed.
• Phase 2 - At least 2-3 weeks after Phase 1. Lifting Stay at Home Order with strong encouragement for vulnerable populations to continue staying at home. Salons (and other businesses closed by the Executive Order) to reopen (with restrictions TBD) sometime between May 23rd and May 30th if all goes well in Phase 1 with testing, case counts, hospital capacity, etc.
• Phase 3- At least 4-6 weeks after Phase 2. Lessening of restrictions for vulnerable populations. Allowing increased capacity at restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues.

Amid concerns about COVID-19, colleges cancelling their semesters, and events being cancelled, I would like to take a moment to address what this means for us.
I WILL BE IN THE SALON unless I am sick. I will be taking appointments and clients unless I am sick. I ask that all my clients please, please, do not come in if you or anyone in your home is sick. Please let me know and we will reschedule you for when you’re feeling better! The best way to prevent the spread of illness this time of year is to stay at home until you are feeling well again.
Until the scare passes, I will not be enforcing a rescheduling fee for anyone who gives less than 24 hour notice due to ILLNESS. All other cancellations will be business as usual.
**If you show up with flu or flu like symptoms, you will be asked to reschedule and leave, and charged the full appointment price.**
