Walks Of Life
Human Design Life Coach | Helping you trust your energy, honor your yes, and live aligned with who you were designed to be.
⚠️ 45% of the population needs to be careful with spontaneity!
If you have an undefined Spleen Center in Human Design, spontaneity may not be your friend!
Unlike someone with a defined Spleen, you don’t have consistent access to that instinctive, in-the-moment awareness that alerts you to what is healthy or safe for you.
You may also experience the ups and downs of your physical well-being as you amplify the energy of those around you.
And when you’re not feeling good, your mind may pressure you to do something spontaneous just to escape that uncomfortable feeling!
But that spontaneous decision could lead you into something that isn’t healthy for you.
This is why your Strategy and Authority are so important! Don’t let the pressure to feel better push you into decisions that aren’t correct for you.
You aren’t here to chase a consistent sense of well-being. You’re here to discover what’s healthy for YOU!
❤️ Learn to love yourself so you can authentically love others!

Are you ready to give up some things that no longer serve you?
In Human Design, one of the themes associated with an undefined Spleen is holding on too long—to things, habits, relationships, jobs, or situations that no longer feel healthy for you.
Your mind may say, “But what if I need this later?” or “What if letting go doesn’t feel safe?”
Because the undefined Spleen doesn’t have consistent access to that splenic sense of well-being and instinct, it can be tempting to look outside yourself for security—and sometimes cling to what’s familiar even when it’s no longer good for you.
That can even mean staying attached to unhealthy or abusive relationships. And when safety is involved, getting appropriate outside support matters too.
The invitation isn’t to force yourself to let go. It’s to stop letting fear make the decision.
Come back to your Strategy and Authority. Let what is reliable within your design guide you rather than trying to find security by holding onto something simply because it’s familiar.
Sometimes freedom begins with realizing:
I don’t have to keep this just because letting go feels scary.

Don’t take advantage of your strong immune system.
In Human Design, about 55% of the population has a defined Spleen Center—and I’m one of them.
One of the potential challenges of a defined Spleen is that we can become so accustomed to our body’s consistent sense of well-being that we overlook the quieter signals telling us something needs attention.
We push through. We stay up when our body wants rest. We eat something when our body is saying no. We keep going because we feel like we can.
But being resilient doesn’t mean we’re invincible.
Pay attention to the subtle signals. Follow your Strategy and Authority. Listen when your body says, “Enough.” Rest when you need rest. Take care of the body that’s carrying you through this life.
A strong system is something to care for—not something to continually test.
Don’t wait until your body has to scream because you weren’t listening when it whispered.

Without the Splenic Center, humanity would’ve never survived.
In Human Design, the Spleen is all about survival—instinct, intuition, awareness, and knowing when something just isn’t right.
It’s always scanning. Always paying attention. And when it needs to get your attention, it whispers.
The problem is, we can get so busy in our minds and caught up in life that we miss that whisper—or we hear it and override it.
How many times have you heard someone say, “I knew I shouldn’t have done that,” or “Something told me not to go”?
That’s the kind of instinctive awareness we’re talking about.
The Spleen doesn’t usually scream. It speaks quietly, in the moment, and then the moment can be gone.
So learn to listen to the whisper.
This week, we’re diving into the Splenic Center—what it does, how it communicates, and what happens when it’s defined or undefined.
Give me a like and a follow, and stay tuned. There’s a lot to unpack here.

What do you do regularly that no longer serves you?
Sometimes a pattern begins because, at one point, it actually worked. It protected us, helped us cope, or simply made sense for who we were then.
But as we grow and expand, the patterns that once served us can become the very things keeping us stuck.
And the mind loves the familiar. It will often choose what it knows over what could bring new life.
So examine your life.
Where are you repeating something simply because it’s what you’ve always done?
What pattern could you let go of that might change everything?
Make room for something new. New rhythms. New choices. New ways of showing up.
We’re here to grow. To expand. To experience more joy, more vitality, and more LIFE.
Maybe it’s time to thank the old pattern for what it gave you—and let it go. 🌱

Why is deconditioning so scary?
Because for many of us, trusting ourselves is unfamiliar.
From a young age, we learned to surrender our authority. Someone else told us what was right, what was wrong, what we should do, and sometimes even why we did what we did.
I know because I did this with my own children. With my older kids, obedience often looked like: “Because I said so.”
But what does that teach a child?
Don’t check in with yourself. Trust the authority outside of you.
Then we grow up and wonder why it feels terrifying to say NO when everyone around us expects a yes.
Deconditioning is learning to check in again.
Am I saying yes because I actually have energy for this?
Or am I being led by guilt, shame, obligation, duty, or sacrifice?
You can deeply love people. You can love serving others. But you don’t have to surrender your authority to do it.
Just because someone has a need doesn’t automatically mean you’re the one designed to meet it.
Start checking in.
Do I have energy for this?
Sometimes reclaiming your authority begins with having the courage to say no. ❤️

What breaks my heart is how few of us get to live as who we truly are.
So many of us make decisions from the mind—trying to earn love, approval, belonging or success.
I’m still learning this too. I still catch myself worrying about what others think and abandoning myself to avoid disappointing people.
Human Design has helped me notice where I’m living from conditioning instead of what’s actually true for me.
Even my environment. I spent years living on the quiet prairie, thinking I should love it. But my design showed me I thrive in “Wet Kitchens”—places with movement, people, creativity and exchange.
Now I’m learning to stop becoming who I think I’m supposed to be and start discovering who I already am.
Maybe that’s what we all need: the freedom to come home to ourselves.

HOW TO LOVE A REFLECTOR 🌙
Give them TIME.
Give them SPACE.
Care about their ENVIRONMENT.
🌙 Give them time.
Don’t pressure a Reflector to make big decisions on your timeline. Encourage them to honor their process, stay connected to the lunar cycle, and allow clarity to unfold. Love doesn’t demand an answer right now.
🌿 Give them space.
Don’t expect them to constantly be in your energy. Being around other people and their energy can be a lot for a Reflector. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is give them permission to step away, be alone, and return when they’re ready.
✨ Care about their environment.
You might walk into a room and feel completely fine while your Reflector feels something entirely different. Don’t tell them, “It’s fine—just stay.” Trust their experience. If the environment or the people in it don’t feel right to them, support their need to leave.
You don’t have to experience what they’re experiencing in order to honor it.
If you love a Reflector, don’t pressure them to stay somewhere they’re experiencing disappointment.
Give them the freedom to find the people, places, and environments where they experience DELIGHT. 🌙
Reflectors, what’s it going to be—disappointment or delight? It’s up to you. 🌙
As a Reflector, your environment matters.
When you’re surrounded by people and environments that are out of alignment, you may find yourself experiencing that familiar feeling of disappointment. You’re sampling and reflecting what’s around you—and sometimes what you’re feeling isn’t actually yours.
But here’s the important part:
You’re not here to fix the environment. You’re here to mirror it.
You get to notice what the environment is showing you.
You get to decide how long you stay.
You get to pay attention to which relationships leave you feeling heavy and which ones bring you alive.
Your delight can become a compass. ✨
Find the people who feel good to be around.
Find the places where your body can settle.
Find the environments where you love what you’re reflecting back.
You don’t have to turn the wrong environment into the right one.
Sometimes you simply need to move.
Because when you have delight, you have LIFE. 🌙
