I was reading 1 Kings 21 this morning and whew… Ahab. 😅

He wanted Naboth’s vineyard. Naboth told him no. And instead of accepting the answer, Ahab went home angry, laid in bed, turned his face to the wall and refused to eat.

A grown man. A KING. Throwing a full-on temper tantrum because someone told him no.

And eventually, that resentment turned into something much uglier.

It made me stop and think about how easily:

“I want this” can become “I deserve this.”

And when we start believing we deserve something—a position, an opportunity, recognition, someone’s approval, a certain outcome—it’s really easy for resentment to creep in when we don’t get it.

But maybe the “no” isn’t something to be bitter about.

Maybe God is protecting us.
Maybe He’s redirecting us.
Maybe it simply wasn’t ours to begin with.

Not everything we want is something we’re entitled to.

And sometimes the most spiritually mature response is simply:

“Okay, God. I trust You with the no, too.” 🤍

Would you even believe me if I told you she has just one row of extensions for a little added fullness? 👀

Extensions don’t always have to mean dramatic length or a major transformation. Sometimes, it’s simply about adding a little extra hair where you want it most. 🥰

A little more fullness. A little more volume. And still completely her.

We call her Roxy 🤍

It was the fall refresh her hair needed. 🍂

I get to work on this head of hair about every 4 months. So whatever I do, I need to make it last beyond hair salon day. ✔️
