Two years ago, we moved to Huntsville with no clients.

Today, we’re standing inside the future home of DEW Beauty Company… designing an expansion we once could only dream about. 🥹🌱

It still doesn’t completely feel real.

This week, we walked the space again — but this time, we weren’t just looking at empty rooms. We were imagining how every room should feel.

What should you experience when you walk through the front door?

How can every space feel like its own little gallery?

What does luxury, warmth, education and community actually look like inside the new DEW?

Because we’re not simply designing a salon.

We’re designing an experience. 💗

And there is SO much to do. Plumbing has started. We’re designing the waiting room. We’re preparing to hire and grow our team. And next… we start bringing one of the biggest pieces of the vision to life: the mural. 👀🎨

Healthy Hair After Color Damage | Part 1 💗

Meet Dr. Keisha. 🌱

After years of wearing her hair relaxed and maintaining plenty of length, adding color eventually changed the health of her hair. She began experiencing more breakage, less fullness, and difficulty retaining the length she was used to.

When she came to DEW in December 2025, her goal was simple: get her hair healthy again. 💗

In February 2026, we did a big chop and started rebuilding from a healthier foundation — focusing on strength, retention, fullness, and consistency.

And now? Her hair is growing. It’s getting stronger. She’s experiencing significantly less breakage, and the density and fullness we’ve been working toward are continuing to improve. 🌱✨

Healthy hair is a journey, and Dr. Keisha’s progress is proof of what intentional, consistent care can do.

She Almost Cut Her Locs… | Part 3 💗

Now it’s time to give Veronica’s hair and scalp exactly what they’ve been asking for. 🌱✨

We started her Loc Detox Head Spa Experience with an intentional scalp scrub and scalp scratch to help lift buildup, followed by our electronic scalp tools and the Halo Head Spa treatment. 😍

Then we created a custom shampoo + conditioner blend specifically for what Veronica’s hair needed, followed by deep hydration and a steam hood treatment to help bring moisture back into her locs.

Because healthy loc care isn’t just about maintaining the style — it’s about caring for the scalp AND the hair underneath it all. 💗

After talking through her concerns, learning her current routine, and giving her the education she needs to care for her locs at home, now we get to start giving them the consistent care they deserve. 🌱

SHE ALMOST CUT HER LOCS… | Part 2 💗

When we started talking more about Veronica’s routine, we learned that she typically shampoos her locs about every six weeks. Mainly because she’s worried that washing them more often could cause them to mat. 🥲

But with a dry scalp, dry locs, and no conditioner currently in her routine, we had to come up with a plan to keep her scalp AND hair clean, hydrated, and mat free. 🌱

So we talked through how to properly cleanse and care for her locs, ways to maintain moisture, and why keeping the scalp clean and the hair hydrated is such an important part of healthy loc care.

Sometimes the biggest change isn’t a new style or a new product, it’s simply learning what your hair actually needs. 💗

And Veronica doesn’t have to cut her locs. We’re just getting started. 👀🌱

Meet Veronica. 🌱

She loves her locs, but she’s been dealing with dryness and thinning around her edges. She’s wondered whether the thinning could be hereditary, connected to postpartum shedding, or if something else may be contributing to what she’s seeing.

At one point, she even considered cutting her locs… but ultimately, she wants to keep them and figure out how to better care for her hair and scalp. 💗

So we started where we always start: with a conversation about what she’s experiencing, her current routine, and what her hair needs moving forward.

And then, right at the end of the consultation, Veronica tells us…

She hasn’t shampooed her locs in 6 weeks…
