Update!!
Color, Cuts, Curls, Styles… you name it! We’ve been super busy learning all kinds of new things, I can’t wait for model day where we get to exhibit our new skills on our models!
After that we will finally be on the floor and taking clients on April 18th!!
It’s flying by too fast! 🤩

Super fun day!! We practiced basic manicures on each other, and went through the steps of a gel manicure on the mannequin fingers. We also practiced a paraffin dip on each other, and my hands have never felt so soft in my life! 💅

Today we learned all about first aid, infection control, disinfection procedures, and we started on nail structure! We had some fun group work, and made cute posters to help us better understand the parts of the nail!

First day of class! We got to know each other, and learned a little more about the program layout. We also discussed what inspired us to choose The Salon Professional Academy, and why we want to be cosmetologists!

I am now 21 years old and taking my next step in life at The Salon Professional Academy in Huntsville to become a cosmetologist! I made this page to keep up with my progress and build clientele! During my first 11 weeks of this program, I will be in the classroom learning the foundations of hair, skin, and nails.
