Colour correction is a journey, not a one-appointment miracle 🤎✨
My client came to me with a history of box colour, red and previous lightening, with the long-term goal of going lighter.
After our consultation, we decided to start by removing as much of the previous colour as possible with Malibu CPR before moving into our colour application.
And this is exactly why I love colour correction. Working with what the hair gives us, protecting the integrity of the hair and creating a beautiful result while still keeping the long-term goal in mind. 🤎

I thought moving abroad would be the hard part. I was wrong. 👀
After 10 years of building a loyal clientele and a business I was proud of, I moved country and suddenly found myself back at 0 clients.
And even with 15+ years behind the chair, starting again made me question everything. My skills, my confidence, my prices and what success was supposed to look like.
But there’s another side to starting over that I really didn’t expect…
I started experiencing LIFE again.
New places. New people. New opportunities. Doing things I’d never done before. Having fun. Actually having stories to tell that weren’t just about work.
For years, so much of my identity had been wrapped up in my business and being busy. I don’t think I realised how much of life I was missing while I was building it.
And yes, going from a loyal clientele to 0 is humbling.
But 0 clients doesn’t mean 0 experience.
I’m bringing every one of those years with me, while also getting to discover who I am outside of the salon.
Maybe starting over isn’t just about rebuilding a clientele.
Maybe it’s about building a life, too. 🤍
