Sorry not sorry to ruffle these feathers. I’m saying it because I care!!!! You deserve better than a nail service where your health is being risked because your tech is being cheap 🫣😬. They may do beautiful work. They may offer w**e with your service. They may be able to get you in without an appointment. Nothing may have happened “so far”…. But there’s a first time for everything. MRSA, Staph, STDs, amputations and deaths have all been reported MANYYYY times and traced back to nail salons with poor hygiene practices. If you’re paying $50,$60, $70+ for a nail service- you don’t think you deserve .50 worth of clean disposables ???- it costs less than a penny’s worth of disinfectant to properly clean the non-disposable metal tools. (Yes I sat and broke the gallons and concentration down by average usage 🤣- it’s a fraction of a penny! ) I implore you- if you don’t want to stop going, please ask for them to do the bare minimum and use clean tools 🙏🏽.

I did KATIE MASTERS with the amazing Banana Nail School with Ciny and I’m thrilled to work with Paola | Structure Gel Specialist | Online Education again! Her MGN program is fantastic for any nail techs who work with gel and want to sharpen their skills or they’re interested in an odorless salon/the options gel brings and need to start with the basics!
I was so taken aback that I misspoke- it was 5 SECONDS. Clearly even I was unaware of what was about to happen lol because now I have to go home and take this off because I’m back in uniform bright and early tomorrow morning. I went to the nail store and I was playing with a few colors and walked to my car – this video was after my failed attempt to take it off.

Every time you like, comment, and share, it warms my heart, and I bubble up with gratitude. To my fabulous clients who share, and tag me with someone is looking For a Nail Tech- this is why I will work on my birthday, do your nails the day after giving birth, come in early or stay late for you ladies, and every now and then I “forget” to charge for extra nail art 😉 🫶🏽😘. To those who are not my clients that engage anyway – special shout out to you as well! Whether you’re too far away to be my client or you simply have another tech that you love – I’m so appreciative that you still see enough value in my work to share it with others 🥹.

Lord,
As I prepare to go to bed this is my prayer tonight. God, I’m praying for alignment.
Not just people to fill chairs, or booths. Not for people who just “do nails/hair/makeup/therapy.” I’m praying for people who understand that what they do is bigger than the service itself. I’m praying to be surrounded by people who know that what they’re doing is a calling from you. People who know that safe pedicure services can be the first line of defense and alert clients to issues long before their next trip to the doctor. People who compassionately style hair and restore confidence in people who may struggle with alopecia, Trichotillomania or who may be cancer survivors! People who know that You are the ultimate healer and recognize that therapy is a tool to support your heavenly work in the natural. I pray for people who recognize that beauty and wellness work can create safety, dignity, connection, and change in ways we may never fully see.
I’m praying for people who know they are walking in their calling and want to do that work in an environment that is supportive, uplifting, collaborative, and rooted in purpose.
Send the people who are meant to grow here. Send the ones who want community without competition. Send the ones who celebrate other people’s wins.
Send the ones who care deeply about the people they serve.
Send the ones who want their gifts to make an impact, not just an income. Most of all please give me the wisdom to recognize them.
I am committing my actions to the Lord as it says in Proverbs 16:3 and sharing the vision because Habakuk 2:2 said I must make it plain! Ephesians 3:20 said that He can do infinitely more than I can ask or think! So I’m placing this prayer out for all to see, so if this is you, or you know someone that this aligns with- let’s do this thing together!!!
