God broke me ALL the way down.

He exposed me.
He stripped away the distractions.
He allowed me to see parts of myself I didn’t necessarily want to see.
And He brought me to places where I had no choice but to realize two things:

1. I cannot do this life without Him.
2. I needed to be reminded of who I am.

And strangely enough, I’m forever grateful for the dark places.

Because when everything else became quiet…
when people couldn’t fix it…
when distractions couldn’t numb it…
when I couldn’t even depend on my own strength anymore…

I had God.

And I discovered that He was enough.

Those dark places didn’t destroy me. They exposed what needed healing, stripped away what could no longer come with me, humbled me, and ultimately led me back to Him—and back to myself.

So no, I wouldn’t choose every painful moment again. But I’ll forever be grateful for what those moments produced.

Sometimes God will allow you to be broken down just so He can remind you that your foundation was always supposed to be Him. 🤎🙏🏾

And now, as I rebuild, I’m rebuilding differently.
With God first. With clarity. With gratitude. And with a much deeper understanding of who I am.
