The Laurel Maiden

8 miles down, 5.1 to go!!!!

Here's my run schedule for Week 5 of my training!!!

A little Monday motivation.

This week, I start my half marathon training. I'm super nervous but excited to see how I can push myself. If you've been following my journey, then you know I just start running in January. So far, I have completed 5 and 10k training. I was really hard on myself during my 10k training. Learning how to run against the heat and humidity humbled me beyond relief. Imposter syndrome also caught me in July. Running is 90% mental and 10% running. If you can match your mind to your feet, you will be unstoppable. Also, I'm still collecting donations for The March of Dimes. Your donation is tax deductible and helps to secure my spot in the race! For every $50 I make, I will be running a 5k!!! Not only will you be helping me, but parents and newborns as well. If you feel called to help, the link is in the bio. Thank you!!!

We just turned 32 today babygirl. I've spent the last few years understanding and healing you like nobody's business. We made it out the rabbit hole. Everything I do is for you. I hope I'm making you proud. Thank you for being the best guide. I love you so much Baby Daph!!! Happy Birthday to us!!! 🥰

I used to stress about not having a "career" until I realized that I am an artist and I can do whatever I want when I want. I'm chasing fulfillment, not dollars. Shifting perspectives can change the outlook of your human experience.
