Confidence will reveal more people than insecurity ever will.

Lately, I’ve realized that not everyone is bothered by what I say. Sometimes it’s simply the way I move. The way I work and how I genuinely enjoy connecting people, where I open doors and am the plug for anyone trying to win.

I was raised to believe there’s something beautiful about every person you meet. My parents taught me to celebrate people, encourage them, and never let someone else’s light dim my own. I’ll carry that with me forever.

We live in a world where algorithms matter, attention comes and goes, and being distant is often mistaken for being powerful. I’d rather be remembered for helping people, while cheering them on and leaving every room a little better than I found it.

I’ve learned that growth can make people uncomfortable. Sometimes the people who knew the old version of you have the hardest time accepting who you’ve become, and that’s ok because we all grow at different speeds.

If people choose to hold onto the old version of me, I’ll just let them. The goal is to keep growing and enjoying those who’ve come along for the ride.

On Mrs. : we shifted from a deep copper red to the prettiest strawberry blonde, topped it off with the cutest summer bob, and gave her attitude.

I have to say, something about doing hair at just hits different. From the immaculate decor to the best support system and overall good vibes, the peace of mind I have while creating art makes doing what I love truly worthwhile. Even after my hiatus and working in different locations, has remained my favorite place to work.

I guess I’ll hop on the trend and share my 2016 flashback, but this one hits different.

When I think about that year, I think about becoming. I was freshly single, in the best shape of my life, and falling back in love with this industry in a way that felt pure and exciting. I was a Senior Stylist , and for the first time, I truly felt supported while doing something that filled my soul. We were unstoppable. Photoshoots, fashion shows, late nights, laughter, and big dreams. It wasn’t just a salon. It was family.

When I left, I carried that season with me everywhere I went. And no matter how successful things became, there was always this quiet feeling that something was missing. I missed the belonging. I missed having a work family that felt like home.

And somehow… life brought me right back.

Returning to feels emotional in ways I can’t fully explain. This season looks different. I’m working part-time behind the chair, and not running my own business right now has allowed me to breathe. It’s given me the space to fully show up for my stylists and pour my heart into my role with . I’m more present. More grounded. More aligned.

I need to say this from the deepest part of my heart: and , I love you. You are my family. Thank you for welcoming me back with so much love and warmth. It means more to me than you know.

And to thank you for standing by me through every shift, every pivot, every transition this past year. Your loyalty, trust, and support made this possible, and I’ll never take that for granted.

Sometimes growth doesn’t look like moving forward.
