Blake is a Licensed Massage Therapist with a gift for blending therapeutic depth with deeply relaxing, restorative bodywork. His sessions combine Swedish massage, deep tissue techniques, and myofascial release to address tension and restriction while still giving your nervous system space to slow down and reset.

With a background in social work and a passion for neuroscience, Blake brings a thoughtful, collaborative, trauma-informed approach to the table. He especially enjoys working with chronic tension, migraines, head and neck discomfort, athletic recovery, pregnancy, neurodivergent clients, and the physical effects of stress.

There’s a new face at Elevation, and we have a feeling many of you are going to love him.

We’re so excited to welcome Blake, Licensed Massage Therapist, to the Elevation team.

When we bring a new practitioner into Elevation, we’re looking for more than technical skill. Great bodywork matters, of course, but so does presence. We look for therapists who listen well, work with intention, understand that no two bodies are the same, and genuinely care about the experience they create for the person on their table.

Blake checked all of those boxes.

His work lives in one of our favorite sweet spots: deeply relaxing while still being genuinely therapeutic. Blake blends Swedish massage, deep tissue techniques, and myofascial release into sessions that address tension and restriction without losing flow or leaving your nervous system wondering what just happened.

His approach is thoughtful, unhurried, and collaborative. He especially enjoys working with chronic tension, migraines, head and neck discomfort, athletic recovery, pregnancy, neurodivergent clients, and those carrying the physical effects of prolonged stress.

What makes Blake particularly unique is the perspective he brings beyond massage therapy.

Blake holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Michigan-Flint and is currently pursuing his Master of Social Work through the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. With a strong interest in neuroscience and the nervous system, he brings a trauma-informed lens to bodywork and understands just how interconnected our physical and emotional experiences can be.

For Blake, effective massage isn't something that simply happens to you. It's collaborative care built around communication, trust, and listening to what your body needs that day. And that philosophy feels very much at home at Elevation.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Blake is also passionate about creating an inclusive, affirming treatment space where clients of every identity and background can feel comfortable, respected, and completely at ease.

Outside the treatment room, Blake recently celebrated something pretty wonderful of his own: he and his partner got engaged! We couldn't resist sharing a little congratulations as he begins two exciting new chapters at once.

As a former NCAA Division I tennis player, Dane experienced firsthand how essential therapeutic bodywork is for recovery, injury prevention, and peak performance. Regular massage wasn't just an occasional luxury during his athletic career. It was part of what kept him healthy enough to train, compete, and perform.

That experience inspired him to dedicate his career to helping others do the very same.

Today, Dane specializes in neuromuscular therapy, corrective movement, and performance-focused bodywork, combining advanced therapeutic techniques with a holistic understanding of how the body moves and functions. As a
Certified CHEK Practitioner, he looks beyond where it hurts to uncover why it hurts, creating customized treatments that improve mobility, reduce pain, and support long-term wellness.
