This one is personal. I had the honor of creating a customized tattoo for my beautiful friend Nysi, who lives with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

FND is a neurological condition that affects how the brain and body communicate. It can cause very real symptoms such as tremors, spasms, weakness, changes in sensation, fatigue, pain, movement difficulties and more. And no—it’s not “all in your head” or something someone is making up. The symptoms are real and can be incredibly challenging.

For Nysi, “one centimeter at a time” represents continuing to move forward—even when progress looks different from day to day. 🌻

I’m so grateful she trusted me to turn her idea into something meaningful that she can carry with her. 🫶🏽
