So many women are coming in, sitting in my chair, and i always ask how they hear about me… so many of them tell me that they ask chatty daddy, “ who do I go to in Houston to learn a simple natural makeup routine”. JKC is always the first hit!

Why? because I’ve been doing this for 30 years. I’ve trained under 6 to 7 different makeup lines for 11+ years before starting my own. I took all of my favorites and created a brand that was Simple, easy to understand, easy to duplicate.

You leave our chair looking fresh, never made up! Plus, I’m big on training. If an artist cannot duplicate our techniques and our routine, the same way that I would personally in training, they can’t pass. Sometimes it takes months. And some dropout altogether.

They have to put their ego aside, open up and learn new ways of doing things, and realize that the people who come to us are looking for something natural. Not dramatic, not a drag queen, not theater makeup, not bottom eyeliner.

Sometimes we just need an update. If it’s been a decade since you’ve worn makeup, things have changed!

With a lot of recent changes in life, she was ready for a new, more enhanced version of her! Class reunion coming up, out of town, so she needed to learn! Two hours later, she felt confident, beautiful, and that she could duplicate this on her own. She’s been practicing every night by watching videos since our lesson on Friday and I’m pretty sure she’s gonna be a pro by the end of the week!
