Thank God for hair color education or this color service would have had me bent over like a innocent at a Diddy party with no baby oil. Let me tell you though the worst hair situation is recignizing your mustake right after applicstion. I think i went thru the 5 stages of grief. Whew!

Sometimes old habits die hard. I have a new client and by new i mean i started doing her hair 8 months ago. When she first started coming to me, her hair was so dry and brittle. It would shed a lot and there was a quarter sized spot in the back that stAyed short . Ive been given her a regimen to follow along with her steaming, and deep conditioning in salon care . I am happy to report that the hair is finally hydrated and supple. No more brillo pad! And the spot in the back is finally growing ...i can roll the hair now.

A bit of care goes a long way! Self care is a love letter to yourself because you are worth it.

Mental health struggles are real! Sometimes people end up in a box- literally because they fall thru the cracks of society. Originally i found this black man trespassing but even though he startled me...i didn't sense am immediate treat and didn't want to call the cops. Turns out he has family but appareny no one wants the responsibility to care for him. He left calmly sfter i asked him to leave. I passed him on the I street the day after the incident and he was conten, lets continue to pray uplift one another and put our prayers info action.

Putting out an all points alert for trespasser in the area. Please tag Project Row Houses to this post as well to bring awareness for the safety of all community residents. Yesterday the mail was taken from my mailbox and i was informed by a witness that a man in a trenchcoat took it. I saw a cup on the back deck of my business and thought maybe it was accidentally left by staff.

When i returned to work today, as i wzs opening up..i hearx some commotion on the back porch and looked out to seeb this gentleman. Since i had a shop full of clients...i didn't want to add any chaos to the scene so i simply asked him to leave but in retrospect i prob should have filed a police report, however i was conflicted since i was not in imminent danger and did not want to call the police on a black man , potientially turning it into a situation that could escalate to death unless my life was being threatned in the moment.

I suspect that this man could have some mental health challenges, are there any mental health professionals that can advise us of some resources? Also what would you do in my situation?
