I'm celebrating the end of the summer farmers market season by taking my family on a camping trip so I will be out of town all of next week (Oct 12--16) so if you need anything done let me know. You have until Sunday! ✌️

Wish I had taken a before picture! When my customer dropped off this old hatchet it was completely covered in rust and the edge was fully mangled from decades of abuse. I gave it an electrolysis bath rust removal treatment, a buffing on a polishing wheel and of course gave it a razor sharp edge. Can't wait to see the look on the customers face when he sees it! 🙏

Back to regular schedule this week but wanted to give a heads up after this Sunday there is only 1 more Williamston Farm & Artisan Market this year so if you've been putting off your visit this is it.

I did my first resin handle repair. It went pretty well. I'm sure my process will improve with practice. This knife belonged to my customer's mother who had passed away so she was thrilled to get it back in a usable state.

Got to enjoy some time on the new chainsaw grinder today. Once you get it dialed in it's a pretty satisfying process.

I'm taking Sunday off to take the family to Renaissance Festival so Holt Farmers' Market on Saturday is my only market this week ✌️
