Dosha Bodywork & Wellness LLC
Therapeutic bodywork in Holly Springs, NC. Custom massage, lymphatic support, prenatal, and recovery work for people ready to feel at home in their body again.
I’ll take the joke, but I’d like to add one thing. The price you see is the price you pay. No tip math at the end, no add-on pitch while you’re still face down, no “would you like to upgrade” when you’re trying to come down.
You get an hour where somebody finds the knot you’ve had since August and works it without leaving you sore. That part’s on us.
Alycia and I both work this way. 💸

We ran every scenario. The flowchart has opinions 🧭
Good sleep score and a clenched jaw? Table. Carried a toddler, a laptop, or a barbell today? Table. Somehow answered no to every question on the way down? There’s a box for you too (and you know which one it is).
It’s a joke, mostly. But when every path leads to the same answer, it might be time to listen. Pick your music on the intake, tell us where it’s living this week, and come lie down.
Save this for the next time you’re debating it.
Almost every one of these gets asked for on my table with an apology attached. “Sorry, could it be a little warmer.” “Sorry, can you go lighter there.” You don’t owe me a sorry for telling me what your body needs. That’s the most useful thing you can give me.
Most of this we sort out on your intake before you ever lie down, so you’re not advocating for yourself face down. But bodies change mid session. A spot that felt fine at minute ten can be too much at minute forty. Say so and I’ll adjust. No explanation needed.
Your hour. Your call. 🤍
Out there, sure. On our tables, we like to argue with that a little.
Before you ever lie down, you tell us what you want on your intake. Your music. How warm the table should be. How you like the draping. Where it hurts, and where you don’t want us going at all. We read all of it before you walk in, so the first time we meet we are not guessing.
And if something changes halfway through, you tell us and we change it. That’s the deal. 🎶
Small things. They don’t feel small on this end 💌
A tag on a story. A friend who books and says “my coworker sent me.” Someone who pre-books their next session before they’ve even put their shoes back on. We notice every one of them.
Thank you. A small practice grows almost entirely by word of mouth, so when you share us, you’re the reason someone else finally finds a therapist who listens. Referral perks are there for members and non-members, and rebooking before you leave is the easiest way to keep your rhythm.
Deep tissue is a target, not a pressure level. 🎯
A lot of people learn this the hard way. They ask for deep, get someone leaning their full weight into a shoulder that was already guarding, and leave sore enough to call it effective. Then they can’t turn their head to back out of the driveway the next morning.
That’s not depth. That’s a body bracing.
Depth here means finding the layer that’s actually holding and working it long enough for it to let go. Sometimes that takes cups or a scraping tool. Sometimes it takes less pressure than you’d guess.
If you stopped booking deep tissue because it always hurt, put that on your intake. It gets read before you lie down.
Send this to the friend who swears she’s too sensitive for deep tissue.
For the record, my forearms are in phenomenal shape. The rest of me is on its own program. 🍺
What I’m actually built for is finding the knot you’ve had since spring without you pointing to it, and working it deep enough to matter without you being sore tomorrow. That’s where the effort goes.
The clients who say “where have you been” after their first session? That’s the fitness I care about.

Michael’s on the schedule now, Fridays and
Sundays from 2 to 9.
I asked him what he likes most about this work
and he said the detective part. Shoulder pain
that turns out to be coming from the hip.
Headaches that live in the neck and jaw. He’s
looking for the tissue that started the pattern,
which usually isn’t the one that’s yelling.
Then he said something I didn’t expect from a
trigger point guy. That Swedish gets written off
as the soft option, but a nervous system stuck in
fight or flight won’t let muscle release no matter
how deep you go.
That’s how I think about this work too. It’s a big
part of why he’s here.
Swipe through to meet him.

Hello and welcome, I’m Alycia, a Licensed Massage Therapist and Gwinnett College graduate, caring for clients since February of 2025. I’m honored to bring my hands and heart to Dosha Bodywork & Wellness, where healing is a partnership between us. I believe every session should be personal, built around your body, your tension, and how you want to feel when you leave. My work spans Swedish relaxation, deep tissue, prenatal, sports massage, Thai table massage, assisted stretching, myofascial release, reflexology, lymphatic massage, cupping, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. Whether you’re seeking relief from pain, easier movement, recovery, or a quiet moment to reset, I’m here to meet you where your body is and create a session shaped entirely around you, so you leave feeling lighter, looser, and genuinely cared for.
