First of all: Yay! Your razor no longer owns you.

But the next 24–48 hours actually matter A LOT when it comes to getting the smoothest results possible and avoiding irritation or ingrowns. So here’s the lowdown from your wax babes:

✨ FOR THE FIRST 24–48 HOURS:

• Avoid super sweaty workouts if possible. Your skin is freshly exfoliated and extra sensitive right after waxing.

• Skip hot tubs, pools, saunas, and long hot baths. Basically: don’t marinate the area immediately after 😭

• Wear loose clothing + cotton underwear. Your skin just went through something. Let her breathe.

• No exfoliating yet. We know you’re excited about your exfoliating mitt. Wait a few days babe.

• Try not to touch the area constantly. Yes it feels smooth. No we don’t need to check every 12 minutes.

✨ NOW LET’S TALK ABOUT THE TIME BETWEEN WAXES: This is where the magic happens.

• STOP SHAVING BETWEEN APPOINTMENTS. This is the number one thing that slows your progress. Trust the process.

• Start exfoliating 2–3x a week after a few days. This helps prevent ingrowns and keeps the skin smooth.

• Moisturize regularly. Hydrated skin = happier waxes and softer regrowth.

• Stay on a consistent schedule. Most clients come every 4–6 weeks, and consistency is what leads to thinner, softer hair over time.

• Your second wax is usually easier. And your third? Even better.

A lot of people think waxing is just about removing hair, but honestly it’s more about freedom from the constant shaving cycle, razor burn, and “wait did I shave?” panic before plans.
