Balding men have finally been given another option besides “acceptance.” 😂

A bizarre haircut nicknamed “The Woodpecker” has been making the rounds online, and it certainly isn’t trying to hide anything.

Instead of disguising a bald top, the cut appears to embrace it completely — shaving everything down while leaving a strip of longer hair around the back, which is then styled outward into a dramatic point.

Basically, if the hairline is retreating, the hair at the back is launching a counterattack.

The style has been dubbed the “corte Pica-Pau” — or “Woodpecker cut” — and has been spreading across social media, where the unusual look is getting a predictably mixed reception. Some people are applauding the creativity, while others aren't quite ready to show their barber the picture.

But that’s arguably the beauty of it. Instead of desperately trying to hide a receding hairline, the Woodpecker takes what’s left and turns it into the main attraction.

You certainly can’t accuse it of lacking confidence.

He may have lost the hair on top, but at least he’s still got a pecking order. 😂
