Okay, I KNOW it’s August and technically we are nowhere near the beginning of the year… 😂 BUT does anyone else feel like back-to-school season is basically a second New Year?!

New schedules, new routines, everyone attempting to get their lives back together after summer chaos… so naturally, my brain has decided it’s time for a little salon housekeeping too.

Consider this my Back-to-School / Not-Actually-New-Year New Year Salon PSA. 🤍

✨ A Little Salon Update + A Few Friendly Reminders

First and foremost, I am SO incredibly thankful for each and every person who chooses to sit in my chair and trusts me with their hair. These little reminders simply help me keep my schedule running smoothly and make sure I’m able to give every client the time and attention they deserve!

HOURS + SCHEDULING

My salon hours are Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Appointment availability is based on the amount of time needed for your service. For example, if you’re booking a two-hour service, the latest available appointment time would be 2:00 PM.

SERVICES I OFFER ✨

• Color services
• Brazilian Blowout treatments
• Hair extensions
• Facial waxing

Haircuts are available with another salon service and are not currently offered as stand-alone appointments.

CANCELLATIONS + NO-SHOWS 🤍

I completely understand that life happens and occasionally appointments need to be changed! If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so I have an opportunity to offer that appointment to another client.

No-shows will be taken seriously. Missing a scheduled appointment without notice may result in me no longer being able to accommodate future appointments.

I also ask that you please be mindful of repeated schedule changes. A pattern of last-minute cancellations, frequent rescheduling, late arrivals, or missed appointments may also result in me no longer being able to accommodate future appointments.

As a small business, my appointment schedule is my livelihood. When several hours have been reserved specifically for you, it can be very difficult, if not impossible to fill that time at the last minute. These policies aren’t meant to be punitive, they’re simply necessary for me to protect my business, respect the clients waiting for appointments, and keep my schedule running smoothly.

RUNNING LATE ⏰

Please keep me updated if you’re running behind for your appointment. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean we need to adjust your scheduled service or reschedule your appointment so I can remain on time for the rest of my clients.

And that courtesy absolutely goes both ways! If I’m running behind, I will always do my best to reach out ahead of time and adjust your start time so you aren’t left unnecessarily waiting on me. 🤍

PAYMENTS + INVOICES

Payment for salon services is due the same day services are provided.

If for any reason an invoice needs to be sent, payment is due within 24 hours. Any invoice remaining unpaid after 24 hours will be subject to a $50 late fee.

Truly. I am so grateful for the clientele I’ve built and for every person who continues to support my little business.

My goal is always to provide you with an experience where you never feel rushed and you know the time on my schedule has been intentionally reserved for you. These boundaries allow me to continue doing that while also protecting my time, my family time, my business, and the time of every other client on my schedule.

Thank you for respecting my time and my policies and, most importantly, thank you for continuing to trust me with your hair.

A little honesty + hope for anyone navigating hair loss 🤎

My sweet client has experienced hair thinning after starting weight loss injections, something I’m seeing more and more behind the chair. Hair changes can feel emotional, especially when fullness around the face starts to disappear.

For her, we added two mini rows on the sides to gently fill in those areas and bring back some fullness and confidence.

Back from St. George, Utah after attending a Tech Intensive at the Invisible Bead Extensions Education Center, and my heart feels so full

Yesterday’s class was packed with a wealth of knowledge, hands on education, and techniques that I genuinely cannot wait to bring back behind the chair for my guests.

As much as I absolutely LOVE having my own salon studio, I’ll be honest… I do miss the feeling of working alongside other stylists sometimes. There’s something really special about being surrounded by people who are passionate about the same craft. I think many stylist, especially us visual learners can relate to how inspiring it is to watch a live demo, see techniques performed in real time, and learn in a hands on environment.

And honestly, there’s something so fulfilling about having educators watch you perform an install, encourage you, and help fine tune your skills. It’s humbling, inspiring, and such a reminder that growth never stops. I pray that I’ll always have opportunities to continue learning and sharpening my craft so I can continue serving the beautiful women who trust me to help them feel their very best.

I’ve been SO excited watching these CALÉCIM transformations start rolling in and this client officially finished her first 6 week hair restoration program.

Seeing the side by sides in real life has honestly been wild. Healthier looking scalp, new baby hairs, improved density, less shedding… and we are STILL early in the process. Hair restoration takes consistency and time, which is why these first progress photos are so encouraging.
