Here’s a from 2015 when I owned my nail salon, Well Manicured.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was in the beauty industry for 20+ years, and as I’ve mentioned before, this was where I became aware of the importance of having the deeper, more meaningful conversations with people… those being my clients I got to see every two weeks for years.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The need for human connection is something inherent in all of us.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Knowing that feeling of truly being seen and heard is something we all crave.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For me, this awareness became increasingly apparent in the beauty world while doing nails.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I will always be grateful for the intimate conversations I’ve while building relationships with my cherished nail clients.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It was from that time in my life as a manicurist, I came to realize that the work I was meant to do with others was on a much deeper level of healing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Being a manicurist lead me to becoming a spiritual counselor.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
•⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You never know where you may be being guided to next on your journey! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
