After nine years living in Nevada, I finally caught a rainbow I’ll remember! 🌈 Sunshine, storm clouds, palm trees—and a faint second rainbow over Henderson.

Come enjoy a little backyard wonder with Purely Pam. Can you spot both rainbows?

I’m 70, and this song gave me no choice but to dance. 💃

I heard it, got up, and kept right on going. No choreography. No concern about whether I looked graceful. Just me, the music, and a very good time.

The shorter clips have brought so many of you along with me, so here’s the whole dance. And there’s a good reason to keep moving as we get older: dancing gets your heart going, gives you a chance to work on your balance, and can lift your mood. I know I felt happier by the time the song was over!

So if a song catches you while you’re making dinner or walking through the living room, give it a little dance. Seventy is a perfectly good age to enjoy the music.

What song makes you get up and move?

Candy corn and peanuts. That’s it. That’s the whole fall snack—and somehow, together, they taste like a Payday candy bar! 🍬🥜

I put on my candy corn shirt for the occasion, but the real surprise was that first bite. This sweet-and-salty trick only comes around when the candy corn shows up, so I’m making the most of it.

Have you tried this, or did I just give you a new reason to buy candy corn? —Purely Pam

Things people should know!

I was going to act my age…then Brooks & Dunn came on. 🌙🧡

This is the original “Neon Moon,” the one that’s been making folks sway since the ’90s. Brooks & Dunn recently recorded it again with Morgan Wallen, so a whole new crowd is discovering what some of us already knew: when this song comes on, you feel it.

I’m 70, dancing in my living room, and having a wonderful time. If this song takes you back, tell me where it takes you. And if you first heard it with Morgan Wallen, welcome to the party—we’ve been saving you a spot on the dance floor.
