After 18 beautiful, chaotic, life-shaping years behind the chair… I’ve made the decision to close this chapter of my career.

This industry raised me. It taught me confidence when I didn’t have it. It gave me lifelong friendships, clients who became family, and some of the most meaningful conversations of my life. I’ve held hands through divorces, weddings, funerals, babies, breakdowns, glow-ups, and everything in between.

But over the last year, my body has been talking to me. Loudly.

Between my health struggles and the physical demands of this career, I’ve had to sit with a hard truth: just because you can push through doesn’t mean you should.

For a long time, I’ve lived in fight-or-flight. Constant hustle. Constant pouring from my cup. And somewhere along the way, I realized peace feels better than proving something.

This decision is bittersweet. There’s grief in it. There’s pride in it. There’s growth in it.

I am not walking away angry. I am walking away evolved.

I will not be accepting appointments after next week. If you’d like to get in one last time, I’m happy to schedule you while availability remains. Please note I will not be available Tuesday due to orientation.

There are a small handful of clients I’ll continue seeing by personal choice — relationships that mean more than a service. You know who you are. 🤍

To everyone who has sat in my chair at Pretty Poison Studio, trusted me with your hair, your stories, your secrets, your tears — thank you. You helped build the woman I am today.

And the woman I am today chooses peace.
She chooses health.
She chooses presence.
She chooses her family.
She chooses consistency over chaos.

If it costs me my peace, it costs too much.

Here’s to new beginnings — and honoring the version of me who gave everything she had for 18 years.
