Corrective Facial Treatments

Have you ever felt like there was something more you were meant to do, but you weren’t quite sure what it was?

For over 20 years, I worked in a career I knew well. I was comfortable, experienced, and genuinely loved what I did.

But somewhere along the way, I began feeling a pull toward something different.

Walking away from what was familiar wasn’t an easy decision. I didn’t have all the answers, and I certainly didn’t know where this new journey would take me.

What I did know was that I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life wondering, “What if I had just given myself a chance?”

So I took a leap of faith.

Looking back, that decision was about so much more than changing careers. It was about trusting myself enough to begin again.

And while I’m grateful I took that first step, what happened after I started building my dream was something I never anticipated.

But that’s a story for Part 2. 🤎

I’d love to know: Have you ever taken a chance on yourself, even when you didn’t know how things would turn out?

Apparently we’re still having eldest daughter conversations over here… 😂🤎

“I got it” became such an automatic response for me that sometimes I say it before I even stop to think…

Do I actually want to do this myself? 😩

When you’re used to being dependable, figuring things out and making sure things get done, doing it yourself can start to feel easier than expecting someone else to show up.

But I’m learning something:

Being capable doesn’t mean I have to carry everything.

I can be strong AND receive help.
I can be dependable AND need support.
I can take care of others AND allow someone to take care of me too.

Still working on that last one though. 😂🤎

Eldest daughters… how often do you say “I got it” when you actually DON’T want to got it? 😂👇🏾

There’s something about this room. 🤎

Every time I walk in, I feel a sense of peace.

I created this space to be more than a place where I treat skin. I wanted it to feel warm, quiet and safe, a place where you can put everything else down for a little while and simply be cared for.

And for me, there’s so much joy in knowing that I get to come here and do something that I genuinely love.

I get to help women feel more confident in their skin.
I get to listen.
I get to nurture.
I get to remind someone that taking care of herself deserves a place on the list too.

This room brings me so much tranquility, and my hope is that the moment you walk through the door, you feel a little of that too.

Because sometimes skincare is about more than what we see in the mirror.

Sometimes it’s about how we feel when we finally give ourselves permission to slow down. 🤎

Where your skin and soul find their balance.

Apparently the eldest daughters found me with my last post. 😂 So let’s talk about it…

I don’t think I’ve ever considered myself someone who doesn’t want help. I actually love when someone takes something off my plate.

But depending on someone? That’s different.

Because when you’ve spent years being the person who figures it out, gets it done and makes sure everybody is okay, “I’ll just do it myself” starts feeling easier than risking disappointment.

And whew… that gets exhausting.

I’m learning that taking care of myself isn’t only about the things I do for myself. Sometimes it’s allowing myself to receive, to rest, to ask for help and to not always be the one holding everything together.

That’s actually a big part of what Skin & Soul means to me. 🤎

So eldest daughters, tell me:

What’s harder for you—ASKING for help or TRUSTING someone enough to actually let them help? 👇🏾

Your skin has a story. Let's rewrite it.

This client came in with hyperpigmentation and uneven tone that had been building for years. Over the course of a personalized corrective plan, this is what changed.

This work doesn't happen by accident. It happens when someone finally takes the time to look at your skin — really look at it — and build a strategy around what it actually needs.

That's what I do at Belle Choses Skin.

Openings available this week. Book a New Client Skin Reset at bellechoses.com.

Before and after — same appointment.

Top photo: before the treatment. Her skin was dull and dehydrated — lacking that brightness and hydration that makes skin look healthy and alive. Bottom: right after. No filters, no editing. Just what skin looks like when it's been given exactly what it needed.

This is the New Client Skin Reset at Belle Choses Skin. A 90-minute corrective experience that includes a full skin assessment, a personalized coaching conversation, and your first targeted treatment — all in one visit.

Most clients walk out saying it's the first time they really understood their skin. That's exactly what this is built for.

New client appointments available. Book at bellechoses.com.

DPN doesn't have to be permanent.

Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra is a benign skin condition that's very common on deeper skin tones. Most clients who come to me have either been living with it for years or were told very little could be done.

A lot can be done.

This client came in with significant DPN on her cheeks. We built a plan around her skin specifically — treatment plus a targeted home routine — and these are her results.

Smooth, clear skin is possible. It just takes the right approach.

This is what a DPN treatment plan looks like from start to finish.

Left: before her treatment — you can see the DPN across her cheek. Center: right after her session, skin actively responding. Right: two weeks later, completely clear.

This is not a same-day glow. This is what happens when the skin gets the right corrective plan and the time to heal.

Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra is one of the most common conditions I treat — and one of the most under-addressed. If you’ve been living with DPN and wondering if anything can actually be done, the answer is yes.

Comment DPN below and I’ll reach out with everything you need to know.

She came in wanting clarity. She left with a whole new relationship with her skin.

This client struggled with hyperpigmentation and DPN — those small raised bumps that are incredibly common on deeper skin tones but almost impossible to treat at home alone.

What you're seeing is the result of a strategic, personalized corrective plan. Not one product. Not one appointment. A real plan built around her skin specifically.

If you've been trying to manage your skin on your own and not getting the results you know you deserve, I want to help.
