Today, October 6, will always be a special day for us. ❤️
It’s our daddy’s birthday — Mister Wayne, the man behind the mustache and the reason My Father’s Mustache exists.
When Debbie and I opened our salon in 2015, we did it in memory of him. But the truth is, he has been a part of this place in so many ways ever since.
There are so many things we loved about our dad.
He was kind to everyone. He had a way of making people feel important, seen and like they mattered. He truly believed being in the barber and beauty industry was more than a job — it was his ministry for Jesus. He loved people, and he loved them well.
But most of all, he loved his family. Fiercely. There was never any question about how much his family meant to him. His four girls were his pride and joy!
We miss him. We talk about him. We laugh about him. We tell stories about him. And every day, we try to carry a little bit of who he was into what we do.
So today, on his birthday, we’d love for you to help us keep his memory alive.
Do something kind for someone. Make somebody feel seen. Tell someone you love them. Pay for someone’s coffee. Give a compliment. Just do a little something that makes somebody’s day better.
And if you really want to celebrate Daddy the right way… grab yourself a Midnight Milky Way. 😉🍫 That was his favorite.
