A small boutique using the highest quality oils and butters to create beautiful skincare products.
I started making soap for family & friends and was asked over and over to do a workshop of sorts teaching the cold process method. Hosting workshops turned into a soap "club" and that club turned into this business! Simply Good Soap, llc is made one batch at a time with the highest quality skin-loving oils, butters and fragrances. After a batch is unmolded it is hand cut and air-cured for 4-6 weeks giving you a one of a kind uniquely designed bar of soap. Pair it with one of my silky, long-lasting lotion bars or creamy body butters so that you can pamper your skin, celebrate the senses and discover what real soap feels like!

October is when home starts feeling especially good.
The windows close a little earlier.
The kitchen smells warmer.
Showers get longer.
Blankets return to the sofa.
And the fragrances we reach for begin to change too.
Rather than making October overtly “pumpkin-and-fall,” I want it to feel like Simply Good Soap’s version of autumn—warm, sophisticated, lived-in, and a little indulgent.

September arrived quietly.
With softer mornings.
Open windows.
Familiar routines finding their way back into our days.
It reminded us that comfort doesn’t always come from something new.
Sometimes it’s the mug you reach for every morning.
The chair where you always end up.
A few pages before the day begins.
The familiar rituals that make home feel like yours.
And maybe that’s what this month was really about.
Not changing everything.
Just slowing down enough to appreciate what was already good.
So before we turn the page, take one more moment here.

Warm water.
Soap between your hands.
That familiar lather.
A few quiet minutes that belong only to you.
We spend so much time thinking about what comes next that it’s easy to overlook the small pleasures already built into our day.
But caring for your skin doesn’t have to be another thing on the list.
Sometimes it can simply be a moment to linger.
To enjoy the scent.
Feel the water.
Notice how good it feels to care for yourself without rushing through it.
Ordinary?
Maybe.
