🎄🧸 THRIFT-MAS: A KIDS TOY SWAP 🧸🎄

Local moms — I’m brainstorming a little Thrift-mas Toy Swap for the holiday season at Aura!

The idea is simple: instead of buying more toys, let’s give some of the toys our kids have outgrown a second life — and bring home something “new” for Christmas. ♻️🎁

HOW IT WOULD WORK:

🎁 Bring gently used toys your kids have outgrown or no longer play with.

🧸 Toys should be clean, complete, working and in a condition you’d feel good about gifting to another child.

🚫 No broken toys, missing major pieces, heavily worn items or stuffed animals that can’t be properly cleaned.

🎄 We’ll organize everything by age/category so moms can easily browse.

🛍️ For every toy you contribute, you’ll get to choose another toy to take home.

✨ No money exchanged — the whole point is to reuse what we already have!

Anything left at the end could be donated to a local organization so every toy finds a new home.

Think of it like a little Christmas toy thrift shop — except we’re shopping each other’s kids’ closets. 😂

Less waste. Less spending. Less toy clutter.

Would any local moms be interested in doing this?! Comment 🎄 if you’d participate!

𝐖𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐄 🤍

Due to the nor’easter forecasted for tomorrow, Aura Beauty Co. will be closed for the day.

With the potential for high winds, downed trees, power outages and hazardous travel conditions, we don’t want our team or clients taking any unnecessary risks getting to and from the salon.

If you have an appointment scheduled, our team will be reaching out to you directly to reschedule.

Thank you so much for your understanding. Stay safe & cozy! ☔️🌬️🌧️
