One of my favorite parts of doing makeup will always be the reveal.
Because I’ve already seen the transformation happening. I’ve watched every step come together. But there’s something completely different about that moment when I turn the mirror around and she gets to see what I’ve been seeing.

That first smile. The eyes getting big. The “OH MY GOODNESS!” 😂 Sometimes the happy tears.
That’s the part that gets me every time.

Makeup is beautiful, but for me, it has never been just about makeup. I want the woman sitting in my chair to still recognize herself — just polished, enhanced, confident and feeling GOOD. If she doesn’t recognize herself because it’s been so long since she has seen her, let me help reintroduce her back to her!

And on a wedding day, the bride isn’t the only one who deserves that experience. Mom, the bridal party, the women standing beside her — you matter too. 🤍

And while she may think she’s just booking a makeup appointment, I understand that what I do gives me an opportunity to serve women in a very personal way.
So yes, I’m cleaning my brushes.

But I’m also stewarding my gift. Preparing my hands. Honoring my business. And making room for who God is sending next.

Because preparation says, “God, I’m ready for what I prayed for.”

And I never want the opportunity to arrive only to realize I didn’t prepare for it.
So I’ll keep cleaning.
I’ll keep preparing.
I’ll keep showing up.

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at what traveling to serve a wedding party actually looks like.

When you book on-location bridal services, I’m not just showing up with a makeup brush and a foundation bottle 😂. There’s packing, organizing, loading the car, traveling to your location, unloading, setting up a complete professional workspace, sanitizing, servicing everyone, breaking everything back down, repacking, loading up again…and THEN heading home to clean and reset it all. Ya I made a total of 9 trips back and forth before even starting makeup!

And please hear me: I LOVE what I do, and I wouldn’t trade it! 🤍
I genuinely enjoyed this wedding party, and being able to come into a bride’s space on one of the biggest days of her life and help everyone feel beautiful is something I’m grateful to do.

This video is simply educational because sometimes you see the finished glam, but you don’t see everything happening behind the scenes to make sure your morning runs smoothly and your experience feels seamless.
