Want to know some interesting info about wheatgrass? It's a grass, grown from the same seeds used to bake bread. Wheatgrass growers usually use hard red winter wheat berries (which are not actual berries, but look like little tan colored seeds), whereas bread makers use those as well as other varieties such as soft white winter wheat and spring wheat berries, for example, depending on the type of bread they are making. Before a loaf makes it to becoming something that encases your turkey sandwich, or before it becomes part of the substance you mix in a bowl for pancakes, the wheat berries are milled (ground) into flour and the remainder of the processes, such as adding salt, yeast, water etc, are completed.

Wheatgrass growers do not mill the berries. They're usually soaked for a day or so in order for the berries to sprout, then planted in a tray with some soil and watered for the next week. It only takes that long for the grass to grow. Afterward, it is pressed in a juicer and the juice is ingested or used in various ways.

Two of the most vocal proponents attesting the power of wheatgrass juice, both the late Ann Wigmore and Steve Meyerowitz, each wrote books on it. Wigmore attributes it to helping her heal stage four colon cancer natually, while Meyerowitz in his book Wheatgrass: Nature's Finest Medicine, told the world that it is...well... nature's finest medicine, and gave instructions on how to use it to heal, and included the stories of many folks who have done so.

If you fed wheatgrass to your dog, your cat, your chicken or other pet, then you'll attribute it to their increased health and longevity. If the apocolypse happened tomorrow and all you had was wheatgrass juice, you wouldn't starve to death because it contains all the nutrients your body needs; it is a complete food. You can ingest wheatgrass juice orally -- as in -- drink it, which is how most folks consume it. Or you can put that juice in a bulb syringe and take it rectally as an e***a or implant, and then you'll reap 100% of its nutritional benefits because it has bypassed your digestive tract. When you use it on your skin, it's a phenomenal cleanser. It also helps speed up the healing of cuts, burns and bruises, and for those who deal with acne, its blemishes, eczema and other such conditions, it offers relief.
