Happy October 1st. Fall is definitely in the air. The mornings are cool when I make my coffee at 5:45. A few announcements to make this morning.
1st if you're an October or November baby, get those birthday massages set up. As you know my slots fill up quickly.
If you plan on booking a Saturday appointment I do now charge a $25 non-refundable deposit which will come off the price of your massage.
Now let's talk about December..yes I know it's 2 months out. But all the stores have Christmas trees, so I can talk about it.
I have decided for my December special I am going to open up my discount packages for the whole month. So many of you were able to take advantage of them in July that I want to do it again. Remember you can share your hours so this would make a great way to purchase gifts for the peoole you love.
So starting December 1st to the 25th, you can purchase 10 for $550 or 5 for $275 package. Start saving your money now and think about how many people you can give the gift of healing too.
I also want to share what's going on in the spa. We have new machines. Kelli Pentecost , Heather Harr and Danielle Eduardo have been researching med spa equipment and services and are now offering some if the best Esthetics Med-spa services in the upstate. I've had a cancelation today at 1 o:clock. Who wants it for $60. Book through the app and include a note to remind me $60. Or message/text me.
UPDATE: I did not win the main scholarship but I am one of 3 that won the secondary scholarship. What that means is I can recieve the entire training plus coaching sessions with the founder for half-price which would be around $7,000. I also found out the in person training now is only 5 days and is offered in 3 different locations. Australia, Hawai and London. I could choose my location. There is a payment plan but I would have to put $700 down and the entire amount would have to be paid off before i could do the in-person training. I could start the on-line training immediately. Unfortunately for me I do not have that kind of money laying around. So if anyone would like to sponsor me, I would offer you free sessions once I get certified next year.
I have applied for a scholarship with a value of $14,000 to be able to learn this technique. I applied for it last year and did not recieve it. I recieved a personal email last week from the woman who did my telephone interview last year personally inviting me to apply again this year. This would be an amazing technique to add to my therapies.
As many of you know I have started opening some Saturdays to fit people in who can't make it through the week. This takes me away from my family and things that I normally do on weekends, but I'm doing it for you. So if you are scheduled for a Saturday appointment and just don't show up it is much worse to me then not showing during the week. I understand things happen and sometimes you may need to cancel. But No show, No call is not acceptable when I am giving up my time. I am considering requiring a nonrefundable deposit for Saturday appointments. Of course if you come I will subtract that cost from the amount you owe. What are your thoughts on this? Would yiu be willing to pay a deposit of maybe $20 for a Saturday appointment?
Good morning and Happy Labor Day weekend. I hope you have some fun plans for the 3-day weekend. Naz and I will be heading to Florida this afternoon. My former church is having a 40 year reunion/Anniversary and I am going to celebrate and see friends I haven't seen in years.

Can you believe summer is coming to an end? Where has this year gone? How many of you are already watching Christmas movies on Lifetime?
I am not big on watching Christmas movies myself, but every once in a while one will catch my attention- but not until December!
Also the $500 package for this month is already sold, but the 5 for $250 is available, as well as my regular packages, so if anyone is interested, just let me know.
