NiSi’s Eyes' goal is to educate, beautify and empower one canvas at a time. NiSi, pronounced nuh-sai, is a multi-creative in beauty & the arts.
I wanted Under the Brim to be more than something people walked through.
I wanted people to feel something. To recognize themselves. To pause, reflect, and connect.
And opening night gave me the opportunity to witness exactly that. 🥹❤️
There were tears, conversations, laughter, and so many beautiful moments of connection.
Seeing my family participate in the experience made it even more meaningful.
This is what happens when art becomes an invitation.
And the experience continues! 👒

While you’re exploring beautiful spaces, furniture, and design inspiration, I invite you to experience a different kind of storytelling through art.
UNDER THE BRIM, my first solo exhibition, is now on view at High Point Arts Council!
Through acrylic portraiture, poetry, and interactive experiences, this collection explores women’s identities, the roles we carry, and the stories that live beneath what the world sees.
Our opening reception was filled with emotion, reflection, and connection, and I’m excited to welcome more visitors into the experience.

Well…this wasn’t how I planned to spend my Saturday night. ❤️
I was dressed, makeup done (and I haven’t done that in a minute! 😂), and ready to share some poetry tonight.
Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances mean I won’t be joining everyone at Lust & Laughter in Charlotte after all.
I’m disappointed, but sometimes plans change, and getting there safely matters more.
Sending love to the organizers, fellow performers, and everyone attending tonight. I hope it’s a wonderful evening! 🎤❤️🔥
