A little Thursday reminder. 🤍
You don’t have to be at your best every single day to still be moving forward.
Some days are for pushing.
Some days are for pausing.
Some days are for taking the slower path, catching your breath, and simply continuing.
Progress is still progress, even when it looks quieter than you expected. 🌿
Be gentle with yourself today.

Self-care deserves a spot on your calendar too. 🤍
And it doesn’t have to mean a massage, a facial, or anything elaborate.
Schedule the walk.
Schedule 20 quiet minutes on the couch after work.
Schedule time to stretch, read, breathe, take a long shower, call someone you love, or simply do absolutely nothing for a little while.
We’re so quick to schedule work, appointments, errands, practices, meetings, and everything everyone else needs from us, but somehow the time we need for ourselves is often the first thing to disappear.
Your physical, mental, and emotional needs matter too.
You can’t keep asking your body and mind to carry you through everything without giving them opportunities to rest, recover, and reset.
So before this week fills up completely, schedule something for you. Even if it’s small. 🌿🤍

Fun body fact: your brain itself can’t actually feel pain. 🧠
So what hurts during a migraine?
The pain comes from the nerves, blood vessels, and protective tissues surrounding the brain, especially pathways involving the trigeminal nerve. When those pathways become activated, they can trigger pain, inflammation, and that familiar throbbing, light-sensitive, “please turn the world off” feeling. 😵💫
And that’s also why things like caffeine can sometimes help. Caffeine affects adenosine signaling in the brain and can boost the effect of certain pain relievers, although too much caffeine can also make headaches worse.
The human body is weird, fascinating, and occasionally very rude. 😂
Appointments still available for this Wednesday and Thursday! 🤍

✨ A little friendly reminder for all of us who book appointments with small businesses and service providers…
Life happens, plans change, and sometimes cancellations are unavoidable. But whenever possible, giving as much notice as you can really does make a difference.
For many service providers, that appointment time is reserved just for you. A last-minute cancellation or no-show often means there isn’t enough time to fill the spot, which can have a real impact on a small business.
So if something comes up, just reach out as soon as you can. A little communication goes a long way. 🤍
Support small businesses by respecting their time, their policies, and the work they’ve set aside specifically for you. ✨
Rest is not a reward…waiting at the end of your to-do list.
It is the pause that gives you strength to keep going.
You don’t have to finish everything first.
You only have to be human enough to need it. 🤍

Officially closed for the weekend. 🤍
I’ll be back in the office Wednesday, September 17, ready to see everyone again. Until then, I’m taking my own advice, slowing down, soaking up the rest of the weekend, and making a little time to recharge.
I’m already looking forward to being back next week and helping each client feel a little better than when they walked in. 🌿

25 years later, we remember. 🤍
Today we pause to remember every life lost on September 11, 2001, those whose names we know, those whose stories may never have been fully documented, and every person whose life was forever changed by that day.
Every life lost was precious. Every family left behind carried a grief that cannot be measured.
Twenty-five years later, we remember the victims, the first responders, the helpers, the families, and a nation forever changed by unimaginable tragedy.
May we continue to honor them with remembrance, compassion, and kindness.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸
You don’t have to wait for a perfect moment to take care of yourself.
Drink the water, stretch for a few minutes, step away from the noise, say no when you need to, and make space for something that helps you feel like you again.
Small choices still count.

Quick question, when was the last time you checked what your body is doing right now?
Unclench your jaw.
Drop your shoulders.
Relax your hands.
Take one slow breath.
Notice where you’re holding tension.
Sometimes we don’t realize how much we’re carrying until we actually stop and check in.
Consider this your little midweek reminder to give your body a minute. 🌿
