What started as my response to bullying and negativity became something much bigger than I ever expected.

I could have responded with anger. I could have traded insult for insult. Instead, I decided to have some fun, spread a little magic, support our community, and remind people what Coven Salon & Barber Shop stands for.

And you know what I learned?

The bullies were loud—but the community was louder.

To every person who participated in Where’s the Witch, shared a post, stopped into a local business, laughed with us, encouraged us, defended us, or simply reminded us that there are far more good people than hateful ones: THANK YOU.

I am forever grateful for the way this community has supported Coven. More importantly, I’m grateful that so many of you made it clear that bullying, judgment, prejudice, and tearing down a small business are not what this community is about.

So, yes—I’m walking away from this feeling like I won. Not because somebody else lost, but because I refused to let negativity change who I am.

I’ll keep choosing positivity. I’ll keep supporting other small businesses. I’ll keep welcoming people from all walks of life. I’ll keep thinking outside the box. And I’ll keep making Coven a place where individuality is celebrated and people are free to be exactly who they are.

You can throw stones at a Coven if you want.
We’ll just use them to build something bigger. 🖤
