Permanent color fades! It’s not permanent because it doesn’t fade. It’s permanent because it’s permanently altering your hair structure.
Fun fact: when you apply permanent color to virgin hair, it actually lightens your natural color a little bit (or a lot). Once the deed is done, there’s no going back to your natural hair sis. Homegirl has left the chat. OKURRT?

That pigment will still fade out. It does stay better than a standard Demi, but it still fades and it leaves the aftermath.

I’ll announce now so everyone can prepare and I’ll announce later as well.
I have decided that I will not be doing a standard price increase in 2027. I will however be raising my prices for weekend appointments.

Saturdays are typically my 6th work day. I don’t make overtime. They are very high demand appointments, which is why they are booked out already for 2026. The goal is either to work less overtime or make overtime pay.

I have had a lot of cancellations this week. Most stylists would be upset about the loss of income. I am not. I am sad for my clients though. As a military spouse myself I know what many of you are dealing with. I have sat in my anger, my sadness and my helplessness and hopelessness for the same reason before. My thoughts and prayers are with you. You and your babies have all been heavy on my heart.
