Your provider’s never told you “no” and it shows… 🚩

A good provider will tell you no. They’ll tell you “not yet.” They’ll tell you when something isn’t right for your face, your goals, or your safety even if it costs them the sale.

That’s not them being difficult. That’s them actually protecting you.
I’d rather lose a client than lose their trust. If your provider has never once said no to you, ask yourself why.

2 week post op 🍒 update! I'll take all your sleep tips...although my surgeon did say I could sleep on my back now. But as a stomach sleeper, that's still hard.

They still have quite a ways to go to settle and soften, but thought I'd give you a sneak peek 🫣

It’s all about balance 🫶🏼

GLP-1s and hormone work aren’t about perfection. They’re not a reason to white-knuckle your way through every single meal. This is about building a body that works better, not punishing yourself into one.

Postop day 8! Sutures came out & we've seemed to turn a corner with some of the fatigue and soreness.

I was cleared to wear regular non-underwire bras (ahhhh) and start slowly increasing my activity (walking, pushing/pulling, etc) as tolerated.

From here on out, there will be a lot of waiting for them to "drop & fluff."

Here’s what actually helped me post-op 👇🏼

💊 Magnesium (Nordic Naturals) for sleep and tension 
🌾 Fiome Daily Fiber Support: anesthesia and pain meds hit your gut harder than anyone tells you 
🌿 Arnica Montana started before, continued after, helped with bruising and swelling
👕 Front-close bras: no reaching overhead
🧥 Vuori zip-up for easy on, easy off
💇🏼‍♀️ Blowouts to avoid the husband hair washing
🛌 Wedge pillow —> not worth it

Always follow your surgeon’s instructions first, this is just what made my first week easier. What would you add? 👇

I've always been a high achiever, but maybe planning to have 2 full days of patients 6 days post op just wasn't in the cards for me.

So sorry to all my patients scheduled today. I plan on making it tomorrow. I know many of you have waited weeks to see me, so I HATE being the person needing to reschedule.

The last surgery I had was lithotripsy of a kidney stone when I was 20. Guess we just don't bounce back the same at 38.

I know this is a boring update, but it's real life. 😘 Thanks for hanging around. Hopefully I'll have more invigorating content for you sooner rather than later.
