This result was achieved over 4 years and several sessions of lip (and chin) filler! When it comes to lip enhancements, there are so many considerations. Injectors have to consider patient anatomy, facial harmony, patient goals and expectations, and filler rheology. Both patient and provider have to be on the same page to achieve the desired result. It’s not as simple as “putting the filler in” and fillers are not created equally!

I think where injectors & patients fall short is the timeline. I know we’re all eager to get to the finish line with lip goals, but sometimes it HAS to be a slower and more gradual process to preserve the lip tissue. Once the desired size and shape is achieved, it’s just easy maintenance. At the end of the day, patience is a virtue and teamwork makes the dream work!

✖️FRAMING & SYMMETRY✖️

We can’t achieve perfect symmetry, but we can get close! This beautiful patient came all the way from DC for lip filler. We’ve done two sessions of lip filler and Botox to gradually increase the size and improve symmetry of her lips. Botox was used to soften her chin muscle (mentalis) which gives her lower face a softer and more delicate look. It was also used above the lip (lip flip) to decrease the downward tension on the top lip and give a subtle lift. Overall I am so thrilled with this result and I’m so glad I could make her trip worthwhile!

✖️Facial Balancing✖️

This ethereal bride-to-be made the drive from DC to get ready for her special day. Our journey started last year and since then she’s had quarterly Botox and two sessions of filler to create a subtle but soft and feminine result.

In the first session we focused on midface revolumization and chin projection. The most recent session was the cherry on top and we added a bit more to her chin as well as her nasolabial folds.

I’m so grateful for her trust, especially when it comes to her wedding day! This result is youthful, subtle, and delicate just we intended 🖤

Jasper Harker updates are my favorite updates 🥹 I had to reflect on Jasper’s lip & lower face journey after her most recent treatment. This transformation took several sessions over 4 years, with each session being mindfully spaced out. Rome wasn’t built in a day!

I am so in love with this 5 year transformation! Over the last 5 years we did several sessions of natural facial balancing, a full lip revision, regular Botox treatments (peep that brow lift), skincare, and Sculptra for biostimulation. Today’s session was a little filler sprinkle along with the icing on the cake, SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® 💦 which helps with hydration and texture!

I am absolutely obsessed with this result on my long-term patient.
